Already vulnerable to logging and climate change, we lost many Greater Glider family groups to the flames that engulfed their East Gippsland and north east homes.
Luckily the remaining unburnt forests of the central west are strongholds for our cute and furry friends. Places like the Wombat Forest in Victoria’s central west must be protected forever if we are to make our Gliders Great again.
